Her process is her therapy and the paintings are a result of the playful manner in which she creates. \nBilly Ellison is Lowcountry fine art landscape photographer. Having been self-taught\, he seeks to capture the serene\, and at times dramatic imagery of the beloved Lowcountry. He combines his love of woodworking by crafting his own custom frames using wood he procures and mills\nrom hurricane fallen trees.

DESCRIPTION:We are proud to showcase “Vacilando\,” a special exhibition by California-based fibers artist Meghan Shimek from June 2nd – 25th in the Grand Bohemian Gallery. \n“Vacilando” is a Spanish word that means to wander or travel with the knowledge that the journey is more important than the destination. The inspiration for this show is about the collective and individual journey we have all been on over the last three years. This is reflected in the long strands of wool that fold and collapse on one another\, the wool that spent hours\, sometimes days soaking in its color.
